Role-playing:
1. Don't god-mod (take control/post for another person's character), unless the person gives you permission. This includes, but is not limited to injuring and/or killing the other person's character. Vice versa, a person can't say that someone else's character killed them. Both parties must be agreed if something that drastic is going to happen.
2. No excessive ooc (out of character chatting). If you've been rp-ing with someone and you have to leave, it's fine to say so in ooc, but please don't have whole conversations in ooc. There is a designated area for that.
3. Spamming. Don't do it. It's not healthy. Spamming is when you post random things or unrelated things on a thread/board.
4. Don't double-post. Sometimes this might happen by accident, but if that does happen, just go and delete the extra(s). If you made a mistake on your post, go and modify/edit it, don't post a new one. Don't post a new reply for more than one character, keep all your writing in one post.
5. Keep swearing and slang words to a minimum. Hell and damn are fine, but make sure that's not your entire post right there. The f-word, well, if the moderators or I catch you using it, there had better be good reason for it (we determine that).
6. This is an Asgardian role play. Please try to use appropriate language and terms. For example, no one would say "Yo, dog! How's it hangin' bro?" or "Turn down the volume, I'm trying to watch the game."
7. Sexual (including kissing and hugging) and violence must be agreed upon by both parties to avoid god-mod overlap. Simply state beforehand in ooc that you are both agreed as to what is about to happen to your characters.
8. You may not role-play, sign up for job positions, enter in the academy, request a bank account, or do basically anything else until your character(s) have been accepted!
9. No being all-powerful. That means no mind reading, being the best at everything, etc.
10. No text talking (ie. use real words, not short hand).
Character Avatars and Signatures:
1. Nothing provocative (overtly) in these. If you think it might be, run it by a moderator. If it's a nude picture (nipples, genetals, etc. showing), don't bother. If you send a nude picture to a moderator, you will be banned.
2. Keep the signature size to 500 by 275 pixels max, and avatars 100x100.
Law of Asgard:
1. No conspiracies against the king, or any of the royal family. If you are found out, you will be sentenced to prison to await trial and possibly execution.
2. To own a restaurant, pub/tavern, inn, stall, or shop, you must have a liscence.
3. Don't post where you don't belong. For instance, if you are a student at the academy, you have no good reason to take a pleasure trip through the Dungeons of Asgard. Likewise, if you are a royal at the palace, you have no business popping up in someone's house in the Residential Area.
4. There is no stealing in Asgard.
5. There is no killing in Asgard (if the person gives you permission to kill their character, your character is still seen as a murderer).
6. No one may leave Asgard unless given permission by Odin, or if they were banned.
7. Marriage is a sacred thing, there is no divorcing in Asgard.
8. If you are between the ages of 7 and 18, you must either be enrolled in the Academy, living in the Orphanage, apprenticed, or living in a Residential/Rural Area home (with an adult).
Harrassment:
1. Don't ask people for their real name, address, phone number, age, or email/facebook/etc. If they want to tell you they can and will, you don't need to ask. Also, don't feel obligated to tell someone anything about yourself even if they've told you about themselves.
2. Don't trade passwords/usernames, etc.
3. No name calling or any other bullying.
4. No discluding. This rule depends. If you post a closed thread, you have a right to have the private party. But if you post that the thread is open and someone wants to join, you better let them. Also, closed threads cannot be "Everyone except so-and-so"
